Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains

Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains is one of 109 councils chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA, the world’s leading organization dedicated solely to girls, where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success. In partnership with caring adults, girls develop qualities to serve them all their lives: strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their potential and self-worth.

Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains serve 16,000 girls throughout New Hampshire and Vermont. With the guidance of more than 5,200 dedicated and trained volunteers, girls discover the fun, friendship, and power of girls together. Through hundreds of programs offered each year, girls develop their leadership potential through activities that enable them to discover their values, skills and the world; connect with others in a multicultural environment; and take action to make a difference in the world.
